For the second time in a week, a minor earthquake is reported in the Lakes Region.
Early Thursday morning, the USGS reports a magnitude 2.1 quake was recorded in extreme northern Marion County near the Arkansas-Missouri Boarder. The quake was about four miles south of Pontiac in southern Ozark County and was 35-40 miles southeast of Branson and northeast of Harrison.
Last weekend, a 2.2 magnitude quake was recorded southwest of Gainesville in Ozark County.
