One of the first hunting seasons of the year gets underway this weekend with Youth Turkey Hunting Season.
Dan Vanderhoef, one of the Barry County Agents with the Missouri Department of Conservation, says on this week's MDC Podcast that the Youth Season is this Saturday and Sunday with the main part of the season getting underway on April 18. Hunting during the Youth Season is between Sunrise and Sunset with the hours during the regular part of the season from Sunrise until 1:00 pm daily.
