Several topics were touched on during the current edition of the Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast.
Taney County Agent Quenten Fronterhouse touched on the topics during this week's show:
-A successful opener for the Catch and Keep Trout Season at Roaring River State Park with the largest number of tags sold at Roaring River compared to the other state parks.
-Another fishing season, Paddle Fish, will be starting on March 15th. Table Rock Lake, especially around Cape Fair is one of the top spots for Paddle Fishing in the state.
-Spring Turkey Season is coming in April with a Hunter's Education Course available for those that need it on March 29 with more information available on the Missouri Department of Conservation Website.
-A reminder that if you are parking in Conservation Areas, especially those that are more isolated, to not leave valuable items in your vehicles that would be tempting for criminals to break into and steal.
