A Marion County man is dead after fleeing from Law Enforcement in Pope County Sunday morning.
According to the report posted by the Arkansas State Police, 52-year-old Don Bird of Yellville was fleeing when he turned into a private driveway and was knocked off of his motorcycle by a cable going across the road. Bird was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information was released as to why Bird was being chased by Law Enforcement. This is the 293rd Fatality in traffic crashes worked by the Arkansas State Police in 2023.
