A Marion County man is facing charges of theft after allegedly stealing funds from an area improvement association.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from the president of the Oakland Area Improvement Association. They provided deputies bank records showing the suspect, 59-year-old Marion Leslie Eaton, had allegedly used the Association’s debit card numerous times over the past year for personal use of $6,300.
Eaton was booked and released from the Marion County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
