A Marion County man has been arrested for breaking and entering or trying to enter a residence.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a male knocking on the door of a residence at various times, stating he was coming to “get” them.
While authorities were looking for the suspect a resident told officers a male was by his bedroom window scratching and eventually breaking out the window trying to enter the residence.
Law enforcement arrested 44-year-old Torie Gene Ply for a felony count of breaking or entering along with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Ply is being held in the Marion County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
