A manager at one of the Harrison Dollar General locations is facing a charge of stealing.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by the Boone County Sheriff's Office, 52-year-old Shawn English of Harrison was a store manager of the Dollar General location on Capps Road. A Dollar General District Manager contacted the Sheriff's Office indicating video surveillance footage from September 25 of this year showed English taking part in illegal actions including activating I-Phone Cards without payment plus taking the daily deposit which totaled over $5,000.
English was arrested in October and booked into the Boone County Detention Center and later released on a $10,000 Bond. His next court date is scheduled for February 9, 2026.
