A man will serve 40 years in prison after a plea agreement in a case of a man murdered during a burglary.
According to documents filed Monday in Boone County Circuit Court, 31-year-old Donald Calderwood, Jr. admitted to the killing of 63-year-old Dale McEntire at his home in Bellefonte in June of 2023. According to the probable cause affidavit, the two had argued prior to Calderwood shooting and killing the victim.
Calderwood is still being held in the Boone County Detention Center.
