A Boone County man, 23-year-old Triston Breger, is facing charges after allegedly attempting to use a stolen credit card.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers with the Harrison Police Department were dispatched to a store on November 5 where an employee reported that someone attempted to use a credit card belonging to someone else. The card owner called the store to inquire about the charges while Breger was there.
Harrison Police eventually tracked down Breger and found several cards and other items belonging to the victim. Some brass knuckles were also found in the vehicle.
Breger has been charged with a felony count of theft by receiving and a misdemeanor count of criminal use of prohibited weapons. Breger's next court appearance is scheduled for December 17.
