A California Man has died after jumping off the Highway 165/Table Rock Dam Spillway Monday afternoon.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Corey Ross jumped off the spillway into Table Rock Lake. The report said that Ross was pronounced dead by Taney County Deputy Coroner Larry Summers around 4:30 Monday afternoon.
The Branson Fire and Police Departments as well as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also assisted with the recovery.
This is the third drowning worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2022.
