Main Street Harrison needs a director on its board.
Matt Fay and Donna Braymer appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Thursday to talk about the need to fill the spot. Braymer said they are both board members. She explained that the board has worked since before the Main Street membership was official. Social media is playing a role in finding a director.
Fay said the Facebook page was recently launched. There's a post out with some requirements listed. The ideal director has a strong knowledge of Harrison and a love for the community. Fay noted that it's a part-time position.
Fay added that the board wants to start gathering applications. Braymer said training is available.
She went on to say that the director should be a people person and not mind asking for donations and event planning. More was discussed on the broadcast.
