Jr. Auxiliary works behind-the-scenes to help others, according to Sky Keen from the organization.
Keen appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Monday to discuss the all-women, Christian-based nonprofit's upcoming events. Among the efforts to assist others, Keen said the group runs a "prom closet" where prom dresses are freely given away. They also donate to other local groups, like CCM and Informed Choices.
Keen also talked about other activities like a disk golf tournament. She explained the selected projects are decided by a board.
The Harrison part of the auxiliary, she said, started in 1987. Their priority for 2023 is member-recruitment.
The full interview is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
