The fifth annual Jeepin for CASA is coming up, according to Becky Callahan Greenwood from Court Appointed Special Advocates of North Arkansas.
Greenwood appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about the CASA fundraising event. It's scheduled for 10 a.m. on April 26, and it costs $40 to enter. The Jeep event will kick off at North Arkansas College. She said the hope is that this year's event will be bigger than the last.
Ducks are common among Jeeps. Greenwood said that participants will receive special ducks.
Food and silent auction items are part of the fun too. Greenwood said bidding for the silent auction items ends at 2 p.m.
Greenwood explained what CASA is all about. The 5o1C3 focuses on training community volunteers to serve as an in-court voice for children in the foster care system.
