The Stone County Sheriff’s Office releases information on a home invasion over the weekend that resulted in one death.
According to the post on the department’s Facebook page, deputies were dispatched Saturday night to a residence near Reeds Spring after a reported home invasion. According to the post, the suspect was fatally shot by the homeowner after the person violently attacked the homeowner.
Stone County Law Enforcement called in the Greene County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division to investigate the incident, with the investigation still ongoing according to the post.
