On the north side of Sam Alexander Pharmacy, just off of the northeast corner of the Historic Harrison Square, is a brand-new piece of art that extends Harrison’s Mural Tour. Ruben Drewery is the artist that spent three and a half weeks painting the mural titled “We Are Standing on Ancestral Ground.”
Drewery is also the artist behind the “Scenic Route” Mural on the Southeast corner of the square and the Dogpatch USA mural on the northwest corner. He says there is already talk about adding another mural to Harrison’s downtown that Drewery will also be a part of creating.
