Some of the heavy rain that has affected parts of Central Missouri could make its way back into the Lakes Region today and Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Branson/Lakes Region including Barry, Stone, Ozark, and Taney Counties this afternoon through the day on Thursday.
The heavy rain, some of which hit the region over the weekend, has impacted Central Missouri the last few days but is expected to drift back into the Ozarks with a potential one to two inches of rain on Thursday.
In Northern Arkansas, not weather advisories have been issued, but forecasters do say some areas could receive around an inch of rain with this system.
Current forecast for the upcoming Holiday Weekend is for clear and dry conditions in the Lakes Region.
