As the clean-up continues after the tornado that moved through the region, a Boone County Official is asking for the public to be patient as they continue to pick-up the pieces after the storm destroyed several buildings.

Judge Robert Hathaway tells Ozarks First that they are in the process of applying for the relief from both the state and federal government and it is important not to push the debris off of their property and into the county roadways and ditches.

The Ozarks First Feature Report also focused on the destruction in the Olvey area which claimed one life and also resulted in the loss of some livestock. Members of the Boone and Newton County Office of the Farm Service Agency also stopped by several homes to assess the damage according to the report which can be found on the Ozarks First Website.
