A maintenance employee with the Harrison School District is charged with possession of an illegal substance on school property.
According to court documents filed this week, the incident took place in August at Harrison Middle School when a black cigarette case was discovered by a maintenance employee which contained a crystal-like substance. 55-year-old Joseph Christie was identified as the owner of the case and later admitted to Harrison Police that it did belong to him. The crystal-like substance was later identified as being methamphetamine.
Christie is facing a felony charge of possession and misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
