Harrison High School's golf team has a fundraiser coming up, according to Cooper King.
King, the team's coach, appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Tuesday to discuss the event. Golfing for Goblins is a "three-man scramble" scheduled for July 26. The coach said Harrison's country club will host it and provide lunch. He explained that it helps fund a variety of things.
That includes golf balls, hats, t-shirts and more. "Golf's an expensive sport, so it just helps with additional funds," King said. The team has 18 members that need gear.
King graduated from Harrison High School in 2016. After finishing college and a collegiate baseball career, he returned to soon receive a job offer. He coaches golf and baseball.
The coach said anyone wanting to sign up or sponsor the event can call the country club. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with King is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
