Harrison Chamber Hosts Informational Event for Storm Assistance

An event hosted last week by the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce informs residents of the type of federal assistance offered for the Memorial Weekend storms.

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration made a presentation meet with attendees at the Boone County Government Center as well as recorded a brief video presentation on the types of the assistance their agencies are offering after the recent storms that went through parts of Boone and Marion Counties. 

Representatives from both FEMA and SBA as well as the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management continue to operate a Disaster Recovery Center at the Boone County Government Center with revised hours of 8 am to 6 pm every day according to a release from Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway's office.
