A detour is expected to begin next week as part of a project to improve a Harrison City Street.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, a section of Goblin Drive will be closed to facilitate roadway reconstruction through Baker Prairie.
Traffic will be detoured to Speer Drive and Burls Way. Detour signage will be in place to inform drivers of the detour route. The post states that while to detour is inconvenient for drivers, the closure is needed for minimizing impacts to Baker Prairie.
The detour is expected to begin next week with Tuesday as the target date for the Goblin Drive closure.
