Harrison Police and School Officials remind motorist of the change in traffic patterns on Goblin Drive as the 2025-26 school year is about to begin.

Harrison Police Chief Chris Graddy and Sgt. Roger Grisham appeared recently on KHOZ's "Around the Table" to address several subjects relating to Back-to-School time.

Sgt. Grisham reminded motorist of the detour of with the north part of Goblin Drive closed going on Burlsway and through the area of the Middle School. Grisham encouraged motorist that might need to be on the road for other than getting to the school to hold off during hours that school is starting and finishing for the day.  Chief Graddy adds that motorist just needing to get from Industrial Park Drive Capps Road can use Highway 397.

In an earlier release from the Harrison School District, officials remind school traffic that pick-up and off for the middle school will be rerouted. The map attached to this story details the new pattern while Goblin Drive is closed.

School officials also add that they have split the Open House for this year's Middle School Classes due to the traffic congestion. Grades 5 and 7 will have their Open House today from 4:30 to 6:30 pm with Grades 6 and 8 to have Open House Thursday from 4:30-6:30.
