The National Weather Service issues a Flood Watch for the Memorial Day weekend.
Forecasters expect the rain to begin late this afternoon and continue through the weekend. Rain is expected in several different waves with the first round expected tonight into Saturday, then a second round Saturday night into Sunday then the final round Sunday night into Monday. Rain is possible between those times but will be lighter.
Severe weather is also possible with a Marginal to Slight Risk through Sunday.
The Flood Watch goes into effect this evening and will continue into early Memorial Day Monday evening.
