Continuing heavy rain in the region has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Advisory now into the evening hours.
The Advisory, in effect until 6:45 does include the Branson/Hollister area as well as the rest of Taney County and all of Ozark County. Douglass County as well as central and eastern Christian County are also included in the advisory.
According to the statement from Weather Forecasters, minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas is possible with showers expected to continue through most of the day.
Motorist are advised to be on the lookout for water over roadways and to turn around water is present.
