LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The family of a Franklin County man attacked by a bear earlier this month says he has died.
Vernon Patton, 72, died from his injuries on Sept. 14, his family told KNWA/FOX24.
Patton was moved to hospice care on Sept. 8 after he was attacked by a bear in the Mulberry Mountain area of Franklin County on Sept. 3.
