An area power company warns of scammers posing as company officials looking for money.
Officials from Entergy notified the City of Harrison of the scam, in which callers are saying that their electric bills are past due and threaten to shut-off power if they do not pay their bill over the phone.
Entergy Customer Service Director Mark Martin tells City Officials that these callers are not from their company and that they never call customers requesting a payment over the phone.
