Work on upgrading powerlines in the Harrison area caused some customers to receive errant alerts that their power is out when it was not off.
Mark Martin of Entergy Arkansas, in an interview on "Livin' Life with Lisa" on New Country 1029, said the alerts were generated when crews were changing some switches along the line. Martin said they eventually found out where the problem was and believe they have corrected the glitch in the system.
Martin apologized to customers on behalf of Entergy Arkansas for the glitch in the system.
