While some offices are closed today for Good Friday, the Boone County Election Center is open to today for those wanting to cast a ballot for next week’s Run-Off Election.
The Election Center, located on West Central in Harrison, will be open from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm and again on Monday for those wishing to cast a ballot in the Justice of the Peace District 5 Run-off between Danny Hickman and Kyle Evatt. The actual Election Day is Tuesday with polls open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.
According to a post on the Boone County Clerk’s Facebook page, 56 ballots have been cast so far during the early voting period.
