Disaster Recovery Centers in Marion, Baxter Counties UPDATE

More Multi-Agency Disaster Recovery Centers have opened up in the region to respond to assistance requests from the recent tornado and storms.

NOTE: All of the Federal Disaster Relief Centers including those in Harrison, Mountain Home, and Summit are closed today in observance of the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. All centers will reopen on Thursday. 

KTLO reports that the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit will have a center set-up that will operate seven days a week at least for the next 30 days while the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas in Mountain Home will have a location that will operate Monday through Friday. The operating hours of both centers are 8:00 am to 6 pm. 

The Multi-Agency Disaster Recovery Center located at the Boone County Government Center in Harrison also continues to operate with hours 8:00 am to 6:00 pm seven days a week. 

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration continue to accept applications for assistance while other agencies are also on site to help with recovery efforts from the tornado and severe thunderstorms that moved through Arkansas Memorial Day Weekend.
