The Culpepper Circus is coming to town, according to Matt Bell, executive director of Explore Harrison.
Bell promoted the wild, family event during his appearance on KHOZ's "Around The Table" this Tuesday. The Culpepper Circus will captivate Harrison on April 8. There are two shows; one runs at 5 p.m. The other runs at 7:30 p.m. It's a classic circus featuring big cats, trapeze artists and more.
Bell explained that this specific circus company travels to other states. The group works with nonprofits.
Bell said that since the circus works with Harrison's Rotary Club chapter, they receive part of the proceeds that the circus will share with the club. Those proceeds will help fund pickleball courts in Harrison.
More information about the circus is online. Tickets are available at Explore Harrison's office, the Creekside Community Center and other places. Additional topics were discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Bell is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
