Creekside Community Center's dive-in movie party is coming up.
It's not a drive-in movie, but it's a dive-in movie. Harrison Parks Director Chuck Eddington and Sports and After School Coordinator Austin Smith appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Wednesday to talk about that and more. Smith said the dive-in movie party will go down as the first one the facility has ever had.
He provided details about the event. "Finding Nemo" will play on April 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Creekside Community Center. However, this isn't a normal movie going experience.
Attendees are welcome to watch the movie while enjoying the community center's swimming pool. Smith said inner tubes and pool noodles are allowed.
He added that the splash zone will stay closed to allow viewers to enjoy and hear the movie. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Eddington and Smith is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
