College of the Ozarks to Hold Auction Saturday

College of the Ozarks will host its annual auction this Saturday, Oct. 1, beginning at 10 a.m. until everything is sold.

The auction will take place in the transportation garage on the campus of College of the Ozarks. The community is invited to attend.

Robert Owens and Brad Holder will be returning to serve as this year’s auctioneers. The products available include the College’s own antiques, tools, automobiles, appliances, and household items, such as furniture, kitchenware, and decoration. One featured automobile is a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 along with other vehicles.

“The College’s annual auction is a long-standing community event that allows the public to purchase our used surplus property in addition to cleaning out our campus inventory,” said Diana Winkle, campus support. “The reason why our auction is so successful is because of the support of our local community. This event allows us the pleasure of seeing returning faces as well as meeting new people.”
