
The City of Harrison is helping residents that need to dispose of flood damaged items.
The release from the City of Harrison is below:
City residents, are you in the middle of flood clean-up?
City of Harrison residents may haul up to 1 (one) truckload of flood-damaged items to the LRS drop-off center located at 1313 Old Bellefonte Rd. for disposal donation. Only residential household items that are visibly damaged from the flood will be accepted at no charge, and you must present this waiver at the time of drop-off. This service is only available to residents inside the City of Harrison.
Examples of items: household materials, carpet, furniture, and sheetrock. Please give the LRS employee your waiver at the drive-up window to be directed to the proper disposal location. Waivers are limited to one per household. Items will be accepted through Saturday, November 23, 2024.
You may pick up a city-signed waiver from City Hall beginning Nov. 12-15. Hours for Drop off at LRS are : Wednesday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday – 8:00 a.m. – Noon.
