Chamber President Talks Weekend Event, Other Updates

Harrison Chamber President Jeff Neilson makes a stop at KHOZ's "Around The Table" program to talk about upcoming events and other updates

One event is the Little Learners Expo at the Signature Building on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for families with children birth age to five-years-old to help them learn about services available to them including child care and pediatric needs. Neilson said several vendors will be there to with information and presentations.

Other program Neilson talks about is the First Friday Coffee Event which highlights new businesses and gives them a chance to visit about their road to getting their venture going and the challenges that they faced. Neilson said it is an inside look for those that may be looking at starting a business.

Neilson also announced that the next graduating class for Youth Leadership Academy will take place next week. 

Neilson added that one of this year's graduates is Ruby Chitsey, the person behind Three Wishes for Ruby. Neilson used the time to remind residents that the organization suffered damage to their downtown facility recently and are still seeking donations for the supplies that were loss as a result of the damage.
