Harrison Chamber President/CEO Jeff Nielson stops by KHOZ's "Around the Table" to talk about last week's city presentation and this week's annual Awards Luncheon and Meeting.
Nielson said the response was good for last week's "State of the City" Breakfast that was moved to the Creekside Community Center Gym to handle the number of attendees. Nielson said the presentation by Mayor Jerry Jackson and the department heads went well.
Nielson said a few seats do remain for the Chamber's Annual Award and Meeting Luncheon coming up on Tuesday with Arkansas Lt. Governor Leslie Rutledge appearing as the keynote speaker. People interested in attending the event at the Signature Bank Community Room can contact the chamber for remaining tickets available.
Nielson also discussed the new dry cleaner service, Old Town Dry Cleaners, that is operating on Goblin Drive one day a week and also mentioned a circus coming to town which is being coordinated by Explore Harrison and the Harrison Rotary Club on April 8. Nielson said the rotary club is using their portion of the proceeds to help develop new Pickleball Courts in Harrison.
