Today is the last day for Candidates to file for office to run in the Missouri April Elections.
A law passed earlier this year by the Missouri Legislature shortened the candidate filing period to three weeks. City Government positions as well as School Board Positions and other Boards including Fire Districts will be decided in the April Election.
Several offices, especially School District Offices, may be opened on a limited schedule today due to the Christmas Break so people interested in signing up are encouraged by Missouri Election Officials to check on open hours for those offices as well as any paperwork needed when signing up.
The 2022 Municipal Elections in Missouri will be on Tuesday April 5.
