The full release from CAM is below:
As food insecurity continues to affect families across Stone and Taney Counties, Christian Action Ministries (CAM) is meeting the need due to the government shutdown and increased need with the help from a $10,000 matching donation from Branson Bank.
From now through December 31, 2025, every dollar donated to Christian Action Ministries will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, from the local, community bank. All proceeds will provide nutritious meals and essential items to local families struggling to put food on the table.
“This matching campaign could not come at a better time,” said Michelle Dean, Christian Action Ministries. “Every donation - no matter the size - will go twice as far in helping us make sure that those in Stone and Taney County, who need help, will get it. A donation of just $25 will feed a family of four for a month through a CAM pantry and the match doubles the impact.”
Christian Action Ministries partners with Ozarks Food Harvest to provide healthy, nutritious food through two CAM food pantries in Branson and Forsyth, as well as mobile distribution sites across Taney and Stone Counties.
“CAM is an essential resource to our community, stretching every dollar to help put food on the tables of those who need it most,” said Bill Jones, CEO, Branson Bank. “We have seen area businesses step up to do their part and our company felt it was important to not only give financially but to help keep the momentum of giving going. We encourage our neighbors to contribute due to this $10,000 match opportunity and you can do so by giving directly to CAM or stopping by a Branson Bank location and giving a Heartfelt Deposit.”
Donations can be made directly to CAM at www.christianactionministries.org or at any Branson Bank location, now through December 31, 2025.
