The Bull Shoals City Council has appointed a mayor to fill an unexpired term until the November General Election.
According to a KTLO report, the council appointed Carol Duss to fill the position vacated by Michael Savu after his resignation last week.
Savu had two and a half years left on his term after stepping down. Duss will serve in the role until this November's election at which time someone will be elected to fill the final two years of the Mayor's term.
