An annual event put on by a local group looking to generate interest in local government is this weekend.
Branson U is hosting their fourth Branson Candidate Forum at the Hughes Brothers Theater. Pearl Haining, one of the founders of Branson U, says during an interview on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program that the questions asked of the Branson Aldermen and School Board Candidates will be those submitted by the public and asked by moderator Joshua Heston. Haining says questions need to be submitted by Wednesday for inclusion in the event.
Haining says the event is part of a goal to give people more information on their local government and the people that represent them. The event will take place Saturday morning at 10:00 am with the doors opening at 9:30.
The full interview can be found on the Ozarks Now Facebook Page.
