The month of June will see the transition of several members of the Branson School District's Administration team.
Superintendent Dr. Brad Swofford, who announced early this year that he would be retiring from the District after this school year, appeared on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program to talk about the transition and reflect on his time in the school district.
Swofford said the majority of transitions are people moving to different positions in the district, including Dr. Nate Moore, who will move up from Assistant Superintendent of Business Services to take over for Swofford on July 1 while current High School Principal Dr. Jack Harris will take over Moore's Position.
During the interview, Swofford also reflected on his 30 years with the district and the growth in number of students as well as facilities. Swofford, who will join Nabholz Construction as a School Construction Consultant in July, has served as Branson Superintendent since 2016.
