A Boone County man has been arrested in Marion County for allegedly ramming another vehicle with his vehicle multiple times. 50-year-old James Ellington of Lead Hill is facing multiple charges for the incident.
According to information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a dispute in Pyatt. They found two vehicles that had damage, including one with significant damage to the rear and side. The victim told a deputy he had dropped a female off at a house and Ellington had gotten in his vehicle and continued to rear end his truck as he drove through Pyatt.
Ellington is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault along with several misdemeanor charges. He also faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender as he has four prior felony convictions.
