Boone County and the City of Harrison makes a joint Proclamation in conjunction with Red Ribbon Week.
County Judge Robert Hathaway and Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson were joined by members of the Boone County Ignite Coalition in recognizing the National Red Ribbon Week which goes annually from October 23-31. The week is spent in spreading awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and the effects on families and communities. The proclamation is designed to show a unified effort year-round to promote a drug free lifestyle.
