A Boil Water Order has been issued by the Arkansas Department of Health for customers of a water district in two counties.
Customers served by the SPG Water Association in areas around Highway 374 East, North Tomahawk Road, Tomahawk Slab and all roads off of Tomahawk Slab are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.
The order was issued last week due to a water main break in the system.
