The Boone County Library has a new employee and will say goodbye to another, according to Terry Register
Terry Register from the Boone County Library appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Thursday to introduce Madison Ramsey and talk about upcoming activities. She said Ramsey is the library's adult outreach coordinator. Register described her as "wonderful" and credited the new coordinator with launching into her new position with vigor. While the library has gained an employee, it's losing a leader.
Register said Ginger, the library director will retire. Register expressed that it's sad. The library will hold a retirement party for Ginger on June 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
"So, stop on bye. Give her your wishes and everything. Tell her "'good luck.'"
Although the director is retiring, she will stick around. Register said Ginger will assist the interim director, Angela Mueller.
The upcoming interim director was a school librarian. Later, summer activities were the topic of discussion.
