The latest At Your Service Podcast from the Stone County Health Department is now posted.
Monica Mueller, Community Health Specialist with the department, talks about the current vaccination rate of the county is just under 28% and lags nearly 20% behind the state average which is below the national average. Mueller does say that inquires into the vaccine have picked up with the surge in the COVID-19 Delta Variant and that vaccines are available at both health department locations in Branson West and Galena as well as many other locations. Mueller also says testing is available at both department locations.
Mueller also discusses activities of the Stone County Community Health Coalition and grants they are pursing to aid in Drug Use Awareness.
