Arkansas Senate Majority Leader Scott Flippo talked Wednesday about the upcoming legislative session.
Flippo spoke on KHOZ's "Around The Table" Wednesday to discuss the matter. The legislative session includes 80% republican majorities in both houses and a new governor. Flippo confirmed that the already held majority was added to. "The red wave is alive and well in Arkansas," the senate majority leader said. He said if the Republicans can't something done now, it's because they can't come to an agreement.
"So, the burden is on Republicans. Now is the time to act and to do big things, and I'm excited about our new governor, Governor-elect Sarah Huckabee-Sanders. She's got some bold ideas, and she's looking to hit the ground running," Flippo said. He also talked about bills up for discussion.
The full interview with Flippo is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
