A man from Newton County facing several area charges appears in county in Baxter County last week.
33-year-old Jady Brannon of Jasper was in court to determine the continuation of procedures on charges filed against him in Baxter County in 2023 while also facing more recent charges in Newton County.
The Newton County Charges stem from a May incident where he was reported by his mother to be in possession of a firearm, which he is not allowed to have based on previous felony convictions. Court documents go on to reveal that Brannon also had an outstanding warrant on charges from the Harrison Police Department.
Brannon will continue to face charges in both counties with his next appearance in Newton County Court set for November 5.
