The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District is keeping a tradition this year aimed at Safety Awareness during the Holiday Season.
The Fire District placed a Christmas Wreath on their headquarters building in Branson West on December 1st which is lit up with Red Lights. According to a post on the District's Facebook Page, the wreath is used as a reminder to keep homes safe during the holidays. As in past years, if a house fire occurs during December, a red light will be replaced by a white one for each fire. The goal is to keep the wreath entirely lit in red light for the entire month.
More information on the wreath plus holiday fire safety tips can be found on the post on the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District Facebook Page.
