A public comment period is now open for the Highway 65 improvement project in Harrison.
After officials with the Arkansas Department of Transportation had a public information session last week at Harrison High School, officials are seeking public comment between now and March 24th on the changes planned including the revamping of the intersection of Highway 65 at Main Street and Industrial Park Road as well as the widening of Highway 65 to add a turn lane between that intersection and Highway 7. The project is being jointly funded by ARDOT and the City of Harrison and is not scheduled to start until 2025.
More information on the meeting and the public comment period can be read with the full story in the Harrison Daily Times.
