For the third time in just over a week, a minor earthquake is reported in Searcy County.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the latest quake hit Monday morning just before 2:00 just north of the Searcy-Pope County Line, or 26.7 miles south-southeast of Harrison.
The quake registered as a magnitude 2.2, which normally can't be felt but might be if surrounding ambient noise is low.
Anyone who felt the quake can let the Geological Survey know on its website.
